Word in Motion
Float as Balloons
Project Goal: For this exercise, my task was to create a visual representation of a word. I decided to bring the word Float to life through the motion of balloons. Using a combination of Illustrator to create the graphics for this piece and Adobe After Effects for the motion portion, I was able to create a short yet fun piece.
Video Description:
In the video, you can see each letter being blown up by the helium tank. They slowly float to the top, bouncing around, interacting with one another to form the word Float. Towards the end, the letter “T” is being given too much air, which causes it to pop, hitting all of the other balloons out of sight as it loses air.
